Hi, I’m Junko Yamamoto. I am an architect from Gunma, Japan, living in the US, working internationally. With my partner, I run a studio, iVY Design Associates - ideas of Viola and Yamamoto. Over the past years, I have learned so much from people I met and with whom I worked with, and from various situations with which I encountered, overcame, observed, and digested. The significant parts of my growth are often through challenges, struggles, failures, and mistakes, which culminated in the joy and gratitude after all. In this blog section, I want to share things that came across in my journey of pursuing my passion for art and architecture — basically, everything else.
